M.A. and Ed. in History
For the degree of Master of Arts and Education, students must meet the requirements for the degree as stated in the Judith Herb College of Education graduate section of this catalog. The Master of Arts and Education degree in history requires at least 21 hours of graduate credit in history or social studies (including HIST 6600, and a history seminar HIST 6930) within the total of 36 hours presented for the degree. To complete the program, students may choose either a written examination or a final project supervised by the student’s advisor in the department of history.
