The Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AG PCNP) certificate is offered to individuals who have completed a graduate degree in nursing and who desire to obtain specialized knowledge to seek certification as a AG PCNP. AG PCNP graduates are eligible to sit for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP) certification corresponding to their population foci upon graduation. The curriculum includes 780 contact hours for clinical practice.
