Combined bachelor's to masters - BSPS in Drug Discovery and Design to Masters Options 

Admissions

Students must meet the requirements for progression or admission to the professional division of the Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (B.S.P.S.) Drug Discovery and Design major. At the beginning of the second semester of the first professional year, students may apply for provisional admission to their intended master’s program. Upon completion of the B.S.P.S. degree and satisfaction of all admission requirements for the selected master’s program, students may be formally admitted to the graduate program.

BSPS in Drug Discovery and Design to Masters of Science in Cosmetic Science and Formulation Design (MS CoSci)

Undergraduate students accepted to the B.S.P.S. in Drug Discovery and Design to Master of Science in Cosmetic Science and Formulation Design (M.S. CoSci) Pipeline option will be admitted to the M.S. CoSci program and allowed to complete up to three graduate-level classes (nine credit hours) during their final two academic years of undergraduate study. Students admitted to the Pipeline program must apply for admission to the College of Graduate Studies for the semester in which they intend to matriculate. They will then continue into the graduate program upon completion of the undergraduate degree requirements. The graduate coursework (up to nine credit hours) may be applied toward both undergraduate and graduate degree requirements. It will be the joint responsibility of the faculty and administrators in the undergraduate and graduate programs to supervise students admitted to the combined program option, ensure that the limit of nine credit hours taken as an undergraduate is strictly enforced, and request that the College of Graduate Studies change their matriculation status from undergraduate to graduate once they meet all undergraduate degree requirements.

The following provisions apply for classes taken for graduate credit: 1) graduate classes taken at The University of Toledo only after the student is accepted into in the program, 2) PHPR 5800, PHCL 6710, and PHPR 5830 may be included in the approved nine semester hours of graduate credit taken as an undergraduate. Students interested in the combined program must submit a graduate admission application to the College of Graduate Studies. 

BSPS in Drug Discovery and Design to Masters of Science in Medicinal Chemistry (MS MC)

Undergraduate students accepted to the B.S.P.S. in Drug Discovery and Design to Master of Science in Medicinal Chemistry (M.S. MC) Pipeline option will be admitted to the M.S. in Medicinal Chemistry program and allowed to complete up to three graduate-level classes (nine credit hours) during their final two academic years of undergraduate study. Students admitted to the Pipeline program must apply for admission to the College of Graduate Studies for the semester in which they intend to matriculate. They will then continue into the graduate program upon completion of the undergraduate degree requirements. The graduate coursework (up to nine credit hours) may be applied toward both undergraduate and graduate degree requirements. BSPS in Drug Discovery and Design to Masters of Science IN Health Outcomes and Value Analytics

Undergraduate students accepted to the B.S.P.S. in Drug Discovery and Design to Master of Science in Health Outcomes and Value Analytics Pipeline option will be admitted to the M.S. in Health Outcomes and Value Analytics program and allowed to complete up to three graduate-level classes (nine credit hours) during their final two academic years of undergraduate study. Students admitted to the Pipeline program must apply for admission to the College of Graduate Studies for the semester in which they intend to matriculate. They will then continue into the graduate program upon completion of the undergraduate degree requirements. The graduate coursework (up to nine credit hours) may be applied toward both undergraduate and graduate degree requirements.
