The Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PPCNP) Graduate Certificate is offered to individuals who have completed a master's degree in nursing or doctorate in nursing practice, and who desire to obtain specialized knowledge to seek certification as a PPCNP.  PPCNP graduates are eligible to sit for Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) certification upon graduation. The curriculum is 20 semester credits, three-semesters with a part-time option; clinical sequence offered every other year. 

On admission, a gap analysis of transcripts and course syllabi for equivalency of content in advanced pathophysiology, advanced pharmacology, advanced assessment and diagnostic reasoning. A grade of B or better is required for the equivalent courses. Students who have not completed courses with the content will be admitted and required to complete them prior to beginning the clinically focused courses.
