Engineering undergraduate students have a support structure that includes their academic advisor, their undergraduate program director, and the program manager for the Student Success, Opportunity, and Engagement Office. 

College of Engineering Academic Advisors

Academic advisors offer personalized guidance and connect you with campus resources to support your success. Meet with your advisor at least once each semester—not just to register for classes, but to review your progress and adjust goals. Always consult your advisor before changing your schedule, as dropping or withdrawing from a course can have unintended consequences. You can find your assigned academic advisor in your student profile through your myUT portal.

Engineering Tutoring and Study Center

In addition to the Learning Enhancement Center (LEC) in the Carlson Library, the College of Engineering has a tutoring and study center in North Engineering accessible to all engineering students. The space includes quiet and group study rooms, offices for teaching assistants, and peer tutoring for first and second year engineering courses.
