Registered Nurse to BSN
Completion of 120 semester credits is required for graduation. Required nursing courses are online so computer, internet access, and computer literacy are essential.
Transfer credit evaluation is considered on an individual basis. A minimum of 30 hours must be taken in the major. Grades of "C-" or higher are required in all university core and program prerequisites. A grade of “C” or higher must be achieved in all NURS courses.
RN to BSN students will be dismissed from the nursing program if students exceed 8 academic years for program completion. Students dismissed from the nursing program will receive a dismissal letter from the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Students may petition for readmission based on extenuating circumstances but are not guaranteed readmission.

Additional credit hours may be necessary to achieve the 120 credit hours required for graduation. Consult with your academic advisor.
Students are required to successfully complete 120 credit hours with an overall grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at the University of Toledo is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
Note: An additional 30 hours must be taken at the 3000-4000 level. These are included in the RN to BSN curriculum.
