Rocket Kids is an experiential learning program providing educational development and recreational programming to the United States Army’s children and youth in Europe. Rocket Kids interns are able to participate in a fall, spring or summer term and provide services to our U.S. military youth while experiencing the world in locations such as Germany, Italy, Belgium, and Netherlands.
Admission Requirements
In addition to meeting the admission requirements of The University of Toledo and the Judith Herb College of Education, admission to the certificate program requires the following:
- All applicants are required to successfully complete an interview process prior to formal application and acceptance into the program.
- Successful applicants will complete an extensive background check to gain access to United States Military bases. A successful interview and a positive background check are required for admittance to the program.
- All applicants must complete 30 credit hours with a minimum 2.5 Higher Education GPA prior departure for service.
