BE in Early Childhood Education, Non-Licensure

Admission to the BE in Early Childhood, Non-licensure concentration requires the following:

  • An associate’s degree in early childhood education
  • The equivalent of the specified University core 
  • An overall grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.7 on a 4.0 scale in all undergraduate work 
  • Employment at an early care and education program for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers

For the Bachelor of Education degree, students must complete the following program requirements:


University Undergraduate Core Curriculum: university core curriculum courses may be fulfilled by coursework completed as part of the associate's degree as specified by the Ohio Transfer Module.
